After the massive success of last year’s pilot program in Ajmer, we’re thrilled to announce that WordPress Campus Connect is back for 2025 — and this time, it’s expanded globally. 🌍
If you’d like to revisit the highlights from last year, check out our recap: A Journey of Empowering Students and Building Community.
What started as a local initiative to introduce college students to WordPress has now evolved into a worldwide movement to bring WordPress education, community, and open source contribution to campuses and curious minds everywhere. From beginners eager to build their first site to aspiring developers, designers, and contributors, WordPress Campus Connect is a gateway to opportunity, learning, and connection.
🚀 What is WordPress Campus Connect?
WordPress Campus Connect is a month-long outreach program designed to:
- Introduce WordPress to students and beginners.
- Offer hands-on workshops and seminars to give students exposure to WordPress and career opportunities available in its ecosystem.
- Empower the next generation of WordPress users, developers, and community leaders.
- Build stronger, sustainable local WordPress communities.
And this year, we’re opening the doors for even more campuses and students to join in.
