Introduction
We’re excited to introduce a new initiative to support students eager to dive into the world of WordPress! After the success of WP Campus Connect, where we welcomed many enthusiastic students into our local WordPress community, we’re launching a scholarship program to enable 2-4 students to attend their very first WordCamp. This experience will allow them to learn, connect with professionals, and get inspired to contribute to the WordPress ecosystem.
We are currently accepting applications to attend WordCamp Ahmedabad 2025, which will take place on January 3rd and 4th. Find more about WordCamp Ahmedabad 2025.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
The scholarship is designed to remove financial barriers, ensuring students can fully immerse themselves in the WordCamp experience. It covers:
- Travel Expenses: Expenses to travel to the event city.
- Accommodation: Lodging during the event to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Event Ticket: Full access to the WordCamp, including all sessions, networking opportunities, and the amazing after-party as well.
Why This Initiative?
WordCamps are more than just events—they’re gateways to knowledge, networking, and the broader WordPress community. For many first-time attendees, especially students, the cost of attending can be a challenge. This scholarship eliminates that barrier, making WordCamp accessible and empowering students to get involved.
